The perfect combination of natural light and minimalist artificial light.

Scandinavian living is very popular at the moment and that is for a good reason. Where simplicity, functionality and light come together in a beautiful way. Because we are experts in lighting, we would like to give you some tips when it comes to lighting. In this blog post we show some suggestions for a minimalist interior.

‘It is believed that a mess-free, bright and light spaces have a calming effect on your life.’

With minimalism there is a lot of light. Not only natural light, but also artificial light. Due to the white walls, the light reflects awesome through the spaces and making each room them appear larger. To let in natural light, curtains are rarely used to cover the often large windows. Interiors with a minimalist design usually have an open look. You will find voids, open kitchens and lots of space. This gives the house more breathing space. Also the furniture comes into its own better because a lot of light is used.

1. Indirect lighting with LED strips.

Inconspicuousness is an important part of minimalism. That is why indirect lighting plays an important role in this. LED strips are often used for indirect lighting, they provide a beautiful accentuation in ceilings, kitchens and, for example, a TV furniture. During the day you can't see the LED strips and they are invisible as it were, but when it starts to get dark they come to life and beautiful light is created in all rooms.

2. Recessed spotlights

A living room that is full of lamps? No. That is not characteristic of their interior style, so recessed spotlights are often used to give a room more light. Recessed spots are available in various colors, styles, single or double, large or small. This way you keep the room clean and bright without a lamp in every corner of the room.

3. Minimalist floor lamps

The floor lamps that we have available in our range mainly consist of slim lines and look very minimal and airy. A floor lamp is a real eye-catcher in the house and attracts all the attention in a room. And of course that's not what we want. Clean and simple remember. No frills or unnecessary parts, which makes our lamps perfect for a minimalist interior.
