What does minimalist interior design mean?

If you have to describe this interior style in one sentence: Less is more. Think simple, modern lines and a clean color palette. A place of comfort, peace and space.

White and light

Light is central to minimalism. The white walls and the abundance of light make the spaces seem much larger. A minimalist interior consists mainly of white tones and black is used as a contrasting color. To create more atmosphere, small accents are sometimes added by means of colorful accessories. You will find voids, open kitchens and lots of space combined with a lot of white. This gives the house more breathing space. Use a concise palette, modern minimalist house grounded with neutrals that are easy to work with whites, creams, black and grays.
